Hayden Black
Hayden Black created, writes, produces & stars in the critically acclaimed online series
Goodnight Burbank and its spin off "GNB: Breaking News". Since launching the show in March
'06, Hayden has single-handedly steered the series to great success, picking up multiple
awards (including Best Web News Series), accolades (iTunes Best Podcast '06 & '07) and
stellar reviews ( LA Times). His production company, Evil Global Corp,
is also behind the groundbreaking Abigail's X-Rated Teen Diary
("cutting edge comedy" - Fortune, iTunes Best Podcast '07). He is also both
consulting and a speaker at various new media events.
Prior to his work in new media, Hayden worked in TV
marketing and picked up many awards while
writing/producing for the networks.
Bry Thomas Sanders - Director
Bry Thomas Sanders, Northern California native, is thrilled
to be a part of the Goodnight Burbank news team. Previously Bry worked in various
nefarious roles at smaller local news affiliates but he hopes GNB and Evil
Global Corp.ís scope will help him to muster more dark forces to his cause: Citywide free parking.
Bryís cinematography has garnered various film festivals awards and nominations for
the Eastman Kodak Scholarship, the USC Cinematography Scholarship, and the American
Society of Cinematographers Scholarship Awards. He is currently Director of Photography
on NBCís The Biggest Loser and shoots a variety of reality and scripted programming,
while working to solve grand unifying theory.
Shulie Cowen
Shulie Cowen is a graduate of Northwestern University,
a former member of The Second City National Touring Company, and a member of
the original cast of the long running musical Schoolhouse Rock Live!
She currently performs at The Improv Olympic in Los Angeles, where she
directs and performs in Opening Night: The Improvised Musical!
(every Friday at IO West). Movie and TV credits include
Just Like Heaven, Phat Girlz, Lovespring International, Don't Mess With
The Zohan, Factory and How I Met Your Mother.
Shulie dreams of one day living the dream.
Rich Fulcher
Rich Fulcher is most proud of his role as Mike Myerís
on-camera double in ìWayneís Worldî and his portrayal of Bob Fossil in
the surreal U.K. sitcom, ìThe Mighty Booshî. Rich has most recently
written and performed in ìSnuff Boxî, a very dark, narrative sketch
show which aired on BBC3. Rich wants to buy a jet ski and a
heater some day.
Carly Craig
Carly is an alumnus of Second City and The Stella
Adler Academy. Her most recent film credits include
"National Lampoon's Bag Boy", produced by the Farrelly
Brothers, "Airplane Disasters" and "First Date". On
TV, Carly guest-starred on David E. Kelley's pilot
"Halley's Comet" (it wouldíve been recurring...but can
you call it that if it doesnít get picked up?).
Recently she starred as Honey in Edward Albee's "Who's
Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" directed by Mark Ruffalo &
Timothy McNeil at The Stella Adler Theatre and sheís
performed in many sketch comedy shows at The Second
City and Improv Olympic with her group, The Weisenheimers.
Jamie Denbo
Jamie Denbo, proud Boston native, has made TV
appearances on Reno 911!, Love Inc., Weekends at the
DL, Sex and the City, Late Night with Conan O'Brien,
and more. She was almost completely cut out of her
first major feature film, Must Love Dogs starring
Diane Lane. Hopefully, her role in the upcoming Will
Ferrell comedy, High, Wide and Handsome will make it
to the final cut. She can now be seen Thursday
nights on Fox's new comedy Happy Hour.
Angela Espinosa
After traveling and working around the world as a
consultant Angela returned to Los Angeles and
got hooked on improv. She has studied at the
Groundlings and performed at the Empty Stage. While at
UCB she met Hayden Black and began collaborating on
GNB. Angela can also be seen as Femme Fantastic in The
Good Guys.
Marypat Farrell
Marypat Farrell is an alumnus of The Second City Toronto
and a recipient of the 2004 Canadian Comedy Award for her role on the Gavin
Crawford Show (Canadian Comedy Network). American TV credits include Weeds
and Still Standing. She performs regularly in Los Angeles at IO West and at
The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater with Baby Wants Candy. She is delighted
to have joined the cast of Goodnight Burbank.
Carolyn Lawrence
Carolyn's best known as the voice of Sandy Cheeks on
Nickelodeon's mega-hit series "SpongeBob Squarepants,"
as well as Cindy Vortex on "Jimmy Neutron." Most
recently, she portrays Orel Puppington on Cartoon
Network's adult-skewed show " Morel Orel." Carolyn
has also had the pleasure of guesting on such shows as
Boston Legal, Seventh Heaven, A Minute with Stan
Hooper, and Union Square as well as many others. If
you're a big video gamer you might recognize her voice
from such games as Resident Evil, Spyro and Everquest
II.
Wendy Rosoff
Wendy is an NYC native. Television credits include
The Late Show with David Letterman, the Today Show, The Rosie O'Donnell Show,
PBS' Great Performance series, the Tony Awards, and has appeared in several
commercials. She was recently seen in the film "The Prestige". An accomplished
Broadway performer, some favorite credits include: 42nd St, A Christmas Carol,
My Favorite Broadway: The Leading Ladies of Broadway, Irving Berlin's White
Christmas, and The Radio City Christmas Spectacular. She is currently working
on her one woman show: "Confessions Of A Christmas Banshee". Wendy has studied
improv at The Upright Citizens Brigade and The Groundlings.
John F. Schaffer
Born and raised in Texas, John has toured the country
as a Stand-Up comic and studied at the prestigious Second City Conservatory
in Chicago. Now residing in Los Angeles, John currently studies at
The Groundlings and The Upright Citizen's Brigade. Since his arrival
in California, John has appeared in over a dozen national commercials,
and also starred in such shows as The West Wing, The Office, Boston Legal,
ER, The Gilmore Girls, and has a recurring role on Comedy
Central's Reno 911. Most recently however John is close to
completion on the feature film Stan that he not only has the
title role in, but also co-wrote.
Eve Savona
Eve Savona's background in the arts spans years on stage, behind the
camera, and in front. She began her career in countless productions
with the Huntington Ballet Theatre and with The Royal Ballet of
England at NY's MET at Lincoln Center. Having graduated from the
Emerson College Film program, she now performs comedy weekly at The
Improv Olympic West Theatre in Hollywood. Most of her producing
credits can be seen flashing at warp speed through the end of network
TV shows. Her fields were finally combined last year when she was
featured in the opening of NBC's "America's Got Talent" as the
archetypal (yet hip) ballerina, clad in a red tutu.
Monica Young
Monica Young is a native of Kansas (no Dorothy jokes please).
Since moving to Los Angeles, she has appeared in several commercials,
films, and tv shows including What About Brian, Passions, Still
Standing, the comedy pilot Nobody's Happy and indie film Airplane
Disasters. She is an accomplished singer/songwriter who has opened
for Toni Braxton. You can hear her vocals on the single Come Together;
a song for Hurricane Katrina relief featuring Celine Dion, Patti LaBelle,
Natalie Cole, John Legend, Joss Stone, and many others.
Joshua Lipkin - Editor
An Emerson College graduate, Joshua
Lipkin has been editing at the G4 Network for several years in addition to freelance projects ranging from
short films to sketches, podcasts (Goodnight Burbank!), trailers, and TV series. (email to
request a demo reel). As well as an Avid Editor, Joshua is also an avid fisherman, pool, poker, and
blackjack-player.
Ryan Shore - Composer
Ryan's recent music scoring credits include Prime
(Universal) with Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman, and the
upcoming Fur (New Line) with Nicole Kidman and Robert
Downey, Jr., for which he composed the original
on-camera music and will also be seen in the film
performing his original music. Shore's scores also
include Harvard Man (Lions Gate) with Sarah Michelle
Gellar and Adrian Grenier, Call Me: The Rise and Fall
of Heidi Fleiss (20th Century Fox) with Jamie-Lynn
Sigler, Vulgar (Lions Gate) which was produced by
Kevin Smith, and Scout's Honor with Bill Murray and
Alec Baldwin. Ryan also plays the saxophone and has
toured the U.S. with Matchbox Twenty, including a
special street performance on David Letterman.
Sanford Dickert - "Tech Guy"
A professor of mechanical engineering and dance at the
Cooper Union for the Advancement of Arts and Science in New York City, a reknowned Internet
political operative, and a new business instigator for start-ups both in the
United States and Europe, Sanford is the technology and marketing guru helping to
deliver our video podcast across the world. He also is the VP of Technology for
Evil Global Corporation
and loves salsa dancing, scuba diving,
saying hello to dogs in the neighborhood and riding the world of political demogogery.
Darci Lynn
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Darci is
one of the very few remaining California Natives! Standard for any native,
she has been involved in the movie industry for as long as she can remember.
Involved in the sense that she has seen a lot of movies and has an extensive
DVD collection at home. She loves the theater, candle lit dinners and long
walks on the beach. As always, her performance is dedicated to her lovely
daughter, Jade.
